Widescreen Gaming Forum

As the title says some of my steam games have not been found by the SGU. HL has been found but not HL2, nor Dark Messiah (which I purchased on DVD but has been picked up and now runs through steam). So I easily found GTR2, which also didn't get picked up, by browsing to the .exe. How do you do that with a STEAM game?
Any help would be cool, although I won't be onto DM until I have finished STALKER- so no rush :wink:

silly question,but did you download the latest SGU? :shock:

Thanks I just did that (silly me to assume that a product only released last month would ship with upto date drivers!), it picked up HL2 as a steam install. But the problem is now the Dark Messiah. It doesn't have a steam install option so I have no copy of mm.exe only steam.exe. So thats the only problem now

So are you saying that you run Dark Messiah through the steam interface, and that's why it doesn't work with the SGU? If that is the case, you can create a desktop shortcut for the game. I'm not sure how the SGU works, but that shortcut should give you an exe to use with it.

Well even though the SGU hasn't picked iy up I was able to set it to the right resolution anyway.
