Hey guys,
sorry for creating a separate topic for this.
But it seems that FOV hack by Racer_S isn't working, I guess that Vista Ultimate 64-bit is to blame. Anybody had any luck running the FOV tool on 64-bit OS'es?
Silent Hill 3 FOV hack on Vista 64
Re: Silent Hill 3 FOV hack on Vista 64
Hi,
same problem here. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit. The FOV hack doesn't seem to work. Is there any solution to this by now?

Hello people.
I've just installed this game on Windows 7, 64 bit version and the hack is running fine.
I noticed in the readme it mentions Visual Basic runtimes. I think I already had these installed but maybe this might be worth trying?

Wonderful !! Thank you very much @ thewool :bowdown
I installed the visual basic runtimes and now it works fine for Windows 7.
Unfortunatelly I hadn't kept the readme for this hack but only the exe ... so I wasn't aware that it needs Visual Basic.
So here is what you've got to do to get it running:
1) Download and install Visual Basic Runtime
2) Run Trainer/Hack - enter Width Field of View: 0.91 / height Field of View: 1.1 (correct values??) and keep it running.
2) Edit options if needed
3) Start Silent Hill 3
4) Press Numpad * to enable new FOV settings
