Warrior Within

Hi, I can't get the UniWS program to change my Prince of Persia: Warrior Within resolution. I tell it to autofind, and it does, then i go to enter in the resolution i want (1680X1050) and it doesnt bring up a cursor or anything and so I cant enter a new resolution. The Undo Patch and Patch buttons are greyed out (most likely cause no new res entered). It says Patches any game version, but only works on a cracked POP2.EXE.

Where I get this cracked POP2.exe?

But im not sure which crack im after? The UniWS just says "only works on a cracked POP2.exe

Is it referring to the no cd fix?

At least on a side note i now know how to get rid of that annoying intro that you cant escape

OK so it appears they didnt like us posting the links. Could you perhaps PM me the file? Just to make sure, I am running a legal version of the game, i just want to play in Widescreen and only way Ive found to do this is with the UniWS program from this site.

The program explicitly states it only works on a cracked POP2.exe file, so I do not understand why the links were removed if they were pointing to a site that would make the UniWS program work. Oh well, hopefully some 1 can figure something out for me.

1. buy the game and install it
2. exchange the pop2.exe (or however it is called) with a no-cd cracked version
3. start uniWS (you can find it somewhere on this site,just use the search function) and change the path to the warrior within folder, then set the resolution you want, click on the patch button and after that it should work.... i guess ;)

and before you ask since this thread was already moderated two times for posting links to cracks I'll answer the previous question.

crack links are not allowed on this website for probably two reasons :
1 - AFAIK the WSGF is trying to build up as a community with some credibility so as to be taken seriously which could be hard if you're just another crack site ...

2 - More importantly, for legal reasons, sites linking to crack sites have been known to be closed in the past. This is very rare however it is a possibility.
As a previous owner of a website I can tell you it's best to ensure the possibility is null. Moreover in some countries, website administrators / owners / moderators have been known to be considered legally responsible of other people's posts ... (that is the content should have been removed by them)

and don't ask me to PM any links to any crack site, use your head! Private Messages are not that much private ...
