Love to see a solution for 1680*1050 as well. I was wondering if there is anyway to force the resolution while in windowed mode. I use the command mgsi.exe -window, but it can only display in a 640*480 box. I want 1024*768. changing the settings in the game makes no difference at all. I would play it in full screen with centered timings, but ATI's drivers are fubar. And no, changing to a Nvidia is not an option. Cards cost money, setting changes are free.

Doesn;t Powerstrip have the ability to make ATI run in 4:3?

Anywho, my since the only mnitor I have is wide, i run games likte MGS, Camamgeddon, and other older lo-res games on my TV.. even though it's old old=ish 4:3 CRT the games look aswesome as long as you set up hte display in yer display properties

but of course proper WS would be bitchin'.

that goes for MGS:Substance as well.

I have Metal Gear Solid and could only get software mode with an NVIDIA.

Is this Integeral or something else? Are their two Solids for PC?

The orignial NES Metal Gear by Ultra is on the PC. Got it.

Konami Metal Gear Solid is on PC.

Konami Metal Gear Solid 2 is on PC.

Are Integeral and Solid 1 the same game? Were there multiple versions?

In otherwords, do I need to buy another game? :D

Metal Gear Solid: Integral was a Japanese re-release for PS1 that included some bonus features, mainly a pack of extra VR missions.

The PC version is a port of Integral, and is the only version on PC (and the only version of Integral outside of Japan). So if you have the PC version, you've got everything except for a handful missions that require the PocketStation.
