I bought the Star Wars "Best of PC" compilation today and tried to apply the WS solution for Republic Commando found here:
http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/5585
This came up with no luck at all.
And yes, I went to the *Star Wars Republic CommandoGameDataSavesystem.ini file and went to the [WinDrv.WindowsClient] section and tried to apply the changes but it didn't work. It reverted back to 800x600.
And one other thing, should the ";" be on the beginning of the line? Or it doesn't matter?

If that ; is in the beginning of the line you changed, it won't read that line..

SW Republic Commando WS issue
Hey all,
I've been trying to get this solution to work in Vista 32 Bit however it's unlikely to work for me because my Save folder is empty in the game's installation folder even though my games are being saved somewhere. Another thing to notice is that they are not even saved in the "Saved Games" folder in your User folder which means I don't know where the game saves are. I've even tried searching in the game installation folder for for any other system.ini file, unfortunately there's only one in the System folder :(
I've tried using the current solution in that system.ini file and unfortunately it doesn't do anything, can anybody please help me out here?
EDIT: I managed to find a solution which is that you need to run the game as an administrator to allow the game to create files to put into the Save folder.
