UT2K4 Widescreen mouse sensitivity question

Post by aolish »

So I didn't know where to put my question so apologize if I placed this in the wrong section. This is a very simple question. I'm about to get the 2253BW and I play a lot of UT2K4... however i hear that gaming on an lcd (especially on widescreen) can sometimes change your mouse sensitivity, especially changing one res after another. Does anyone know anything more about this? I've looked all over the web on this topic but i can't find anything. I'm pretty picky on mouse sensitivity and I would like an answer on this. thx in advance for any help anyone can give on this.

I just got a 2253BW, switched from a 19" LCD monitor, mouse sensivity has not changed. Also, mouse sensivity does not change when changing resolutions. I don't know for sure if it changes from a CRT, but I doubt it, it really shouldn't have any impact. Even if it does, you can easily adjust it, and you get used to a new sensivity in less than a day if it's close to the old one. Oh, and I can recommend the 2253BW, it's great.

thanks alot, going out right now after this post and getting one. My pops is coming in 20 mins and i'm gonna go to circuit city. I usually do all my shopping at newegg but there policy on LCDs is kinda scary. I guess I'll stick to LCD at a retail for now. thanks for the info.
