Can you please make a resolution changer for this game? It doesn't have resolution more than 1600x1200 and I need 1920x1200.

Thanks and keep up the good work :bowdown :bowdown

Don't ask for help for pirated games. Especially not leaked incomplete versions.

Hmm nice. How much better are the graphics compared to GC? Is 5.1 Sound available?

If there will be a solution for widescreen I will definetly buy this. 8)

After restart of PC game is fully working at 1920x1200 :D I think it just needed that to work :)

It looks like DMC3 - characters are quite detailed and some objects to but ground is generally poor

But generaly graphics is good :) Much clearer than on GC, I can see what I shoot now.

look at Ubistore - 2006.
http://store.ubi.com/item.jsp?item=68311

Look more carefully. It says "TBD 2006." TBD stands for "to be determined." Meaning that when they put up the page, they thought it would come out in 2006 and they didn't know when, and they forgot to change it. But if the game actually came out in 2006, it would give an actual date - it would *NOT* say "TBD 2006."

If you want to buy:

here you go.

I've seen links on eBay for Re4 PC since last April. They, like this one, had no shots of things like discs or manuals, just the box art mock-up.

Ok, before you go and call everyone a pirate, you have to get your facts straight, last time I checked, there're different regions and countries in the same world you're living in, and on these continents, the game is released.

Ubisoft publishes the NA (maybe also UK) version, I'm not sure who publishes the korea/taiwan/chinese version, but they're out, and the game is in english too, not surprised it's out in UK or the same game from Taiwan and hong kong is being shipped to the UK, but it's legit, not pirated.

Yes. (yay!)

Has 'Normal' and 'Widescreen' options.

Widescreen draws the game at 16:9 and adds blacks bars on top and bottom to fit, a-la Condemned: Criminal origins.

Fun game. I never played it on any of the consoles but the graphics are certainly better than a ps2 could spit out. And of course it runs well.

Though there are a couple things that cheese me off:

it has NO mouse support whatsoever. My Rumblepad 2 works great.

Also, the FPS is locked at 30fps, whcih i find pretty shitty..

I've tried killing vsync and snooping through the .ini fiels, but I ahven't foudn a way to remove the cap :< Some say 30fps is enough, but it looks fairly jagged when turn quickly. (with vsync ON as well)

Still worth it though.

I'm not sure who publishes the korea/taiwan/chinese version

I can answer this. NETSHOW does, but I'm using the term "publisher" loosely. The game is not legitimately out yet in any form. I challenge you or anyone else claiming to play this game legally to show me evidence that suggests otherwise.

The camera angle in this game is giving me a goddamn headache. O_<
tis certainly a good game though although the options leave a lot to be desired. absolutely no way to control graphics options either which is confusing..
and why on earth are all the FMV's .mpg movies? i would have much rather preferred them to be rendered ingame coz the movie gets stretched to hell and looks poop :/

Ya the movie thign is pretty cheesy.. they take up about 1.5gb, looks terrible and yes, are stretched a bit.

I don't get why current(ish) games don't just use the graphics engine to play fmv sequences when the games' graphics are capable of genereating teh same, if not better, graphics than the pre-recorded ones.

PLUS rendered moves would take up soooo much less disc space.. i just don't get it.

The movies on re4 looki like they were captured with shitty old vid cap card.

oh well.
still better than NO re4

*rolleyes* While I'm not going to go out and buy the game for 30USD, just to prove the game is *out*, that's the most I can offer you as an "evidence".

You can continue to accuse these people on the same thread that they're pirates and stay off topic until the NA version is 'legitimately" out, and ask them to scan the box for you or whatever just so they can feel better about it, I could care less, but this game IS out and I'm just here to prove you wrong, the only thing *I* care is to know if the game natively support 16:9 or not, and I don't see why YOU care if any of these people are using pirated softwares.

You could also say that box is just a "mockup" and the auction is selling a pirate game, or hey, maybe EA taiwan doesn't exist, it's a pirate company.

WSGF can not and will not be seen endorsing Pirated Games ...

Pablo_el says ....
Resident Evil 4

Publisher: Ubisoft
Platform: PC
Release Date: Feb 23, 2007
Release Region: Europe
Distribution: Retail

I have it from England. It is not pirate copy of a game.

It isn't the 23rd of Feb yet ... :?

From what I can see none of the links provided prove the game is legitimately out ...
I know you are trying and I hope you can prove it ... but as I said ... WSGF can not and will not be seen endorsing Pirated Games ...

Someone please give proof positive that this game is released ... you have three days ... without proof positive this tread will be locked or deleted (along with the solution).

The game is definitely NOT released in USA or Europe. The version floating on the net is a bootleg (Possibly not even final) version of the game. The game doesn't even support "lighting" effects (Night time is as bright as day... Full bright effect) so I honestly think that it is an nonfinalized version that will be different when it actually hits store shelves.

http://www.thehorrorisalive.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=815 for PC vs. console versions. Huge difference sadly, not in a good way.

hi people

Post by ninja_dude »

i have a problem using widescreen on this game,
when i launch the game, the setup screen appears. i have a 4:3 resolutions, and a widescreen option of 16:10. but if i try to run the game when my 32 lcd tv is set to primary display , the widescreen option is grayed and i can only select 4:3 modes.
that is a shame since on the 4:3 modes the game is fully widescreen, only the menues and cut scenes are 4:3. can any one tell me what should i do ?
