3x 24" portrait horizontal span

Does anybody have a solution to the problem that horizontal span is not possible while screen is rotated?

I want to have 3x 24" widescreens in portrait mode , so that i can enjoy 27:16 superscreen :) Ofcourse with games running fullscreen.

Can people with 3x 24" try portrait mode full screen games for me, if it works i'll buy the hardware necessary for it.,.,.

I have 3x24" but I don't run the TH2G with them as I'm not happy with the widescreen resolutions that are available with the TH2G.

You can't run the monitors in portrait mode with the TH2G ... it has set resolutions only and sees the three screens as one monitor.

You could possibly game across two of them ... but the gap between the screens up the middle ? ... and no SLi.

Not in a game I don't see why you can't have up to four screens in portrait but again without running in SLi.

with horizontal span it is possible to "merge" 2 screens to 1, and it is possible to play a game across 2 screens. However as you say: you have a big bar in the middle.

with 2 digital Dualhead2go in theory you can get one ultra wide 7680x1200 desktop with one nvidia card..or even one 3840x2400 desktop (use together with nvdia span mode, horizontal/vertical).
That is four 1920x1200 displays..

3 1920x1200 displays... span.. can be achieve with one digital DH2Go and one nvidia graphics card..

I agree with the 4 screens thing. but 3 screens no span is possible:

span modes require same sized screens
with DD2Go you would create a 3840x1200 screen
and you would have another screen 1920x1200. not the same size.
(maybe I missed something with the span modes, but I don't think so)

You are right, nvidia drivers cannot span different res monitors,... but 3d app in windowed mode may be still able to span across one display card..
