Far Cry with 1280x800+HDR

Can I activate it?

ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 256Mb (512 Hypermemory)

and already 1.4 patched

H m8 type "/r_hdrrendering 7" into the console without the " Its possible to use a different number for different settings but i found 7 to be the best. The Game looks awesome on my 7900 gt. Hope this helps

Be sure you have your graphics set to "High"

They did an OK job on HDR, it adds a very nice touch liek all HDR-enabled games.. but since it wasn;t MADE for HDr, it's a litle wonky.

Check out tweakguides.com for an awesome ...tweak guide.

The only problem I've foudn is that after finding MY iudeal settings for daytime levels, it looks too bright at night.

Since the game gauges how much/little light to use depending on ONLY where your crosshair is, if you aim at the sky on a night level teh hdr kicks in WAY too mcuh and makes everything uber-bright.. So i just made a coujple .cfgs - one for night and one for daytime levels.

Oh ya.. I'm using an ATI x1900Pro. Since HDR has been alailable for nVidia since the 1.3 patch, maybe it's different nVidia.
