I'll reinstall everything later tonight and check again. It's been a while since I did this, but I'm assuming it was the right file as I was following the instructions from this site. Also the fact that starting the game was resetting the file leads me to the same conclusion, but I appreciate the though.

I'll try to do this later tonight and I'll let you know how it goes.
