For compatibility reason DH2Go Digital, still handles analog input only, not digital. It is the output of DH2Go that has the option of DVI/vga output, As 400Mhz RAMDAC analog vga outputs are most easily available.

Most analog 400MHz RAMDACs states 2048 x1536 x85Hz x32bit limit, I guess with 3840x1200x60MHz x24bit/32bit, it is within the limits/exceed it a little.

1920x1200x60Hzx24bit x2 is also the limit of DL-DVI can support...which is at 4.6 Mpixels. HDMI 1.3 exceed DL-DVI bandwidth by by a little, so it maybe able to replace DL-DVI with the same amount of connection/pins as SL-DVI.

Therefore, there will unlikely any products be able to push 5760x1200 (6.9 Mpixels) at 60Hz from one output now or in the immediate future. If you reduce the refresh rate Hz of the display you could increase the resolution further ... for example you can power 3840x2400 (9.2 Mpixels) resolution with SL-DVI by reducing the refresh rate to 18Hz...

Yes, but The NVIDIA 8800 (and more importantly) DX10 may have changed this...

While this is exciting news, everybody can stop getting their hopes up for crazy high resolutions on a digital TH2Go. To further build on RUS007's statement, Matrox said on their old forum that no video card in existence supports 3D in resolutions higher than 4096 per side. Its a limitation of how GPU's are programmed, they simply cannot display any more pixels in 3D. Its similar to old limitations on texture sizes... remember when cards couldn't do textures bigger than 1024x1024 for example? Same thing... its hardwired in the silicon, only nvidia/ati can change it.

3840x1024 is the highest resolution we're going to see in triple-head.

Yes DirectX 10 is capable of delivering double the texture size of DirectX 9, but like I said earlier .........

Because the DualHead2Go a product designed to be used with laptops. Most laptops do not have DVI connections.

As long there will be no TH2GO DVI it is uninteresting.

Well, first Matrox made an analogue DualHead2Go. Then they made an analogue TripleHead2Go. After that they made a digital DualHead2Go.

Seems to me the next logical step is a digital TripleHead2Go...

can TH2Go handle 3x rotated screens?
