I have sent most of this letter to several sights including the creators troubleshooting page and have had no response.

I have a wide screen monitor. I can see that the game is in a wide screen mode. Unfortunatly, it seems that in order to have the characters and artwork in the correct aspect i need to have a regular monitor (I see the bars above and below and the picture is squashed down a bit).

Is there a way to fix the settings and adjust it for say,1400 x 900 or some other scale? I truly would like to see the game in its correct visual settings without having to buy another monitor.

Can you post a picture of the game running at 1024x768 and 1280x800?

It would seem like the game is stretched, but is presented in a letterbox format. The game may not support widescreen. If that is correct, then you can set your video card for Aspect scaling. It will center the image on your screen.
