I got the patch, ran it and went into the Options and the highest resolution available for me is 1152 x 864. So I did a clean install and ran the patch again, same thing. WTH?
So I saw this new patch for R6-Vegas. And I saw "widescreen support", woohoo I was really excited to see it finally fixed. I download this huge ass patch, (re: I'm on dial-up), and uninstall the game, reinstall the game, apply the patch and... no widescreen. I have 22" Samsung 226BW running at 1680x1050 and not getting any widescreen options.
That patch has to be the worst crap Ubisoft has ever pulled on PC gamers... putting "widescreen" in and having it A) be 16:9 only, and B) completely awkward looking like the hack.
Shame! Especially since the game is made to work perfectly in 16:9 on Xbox 360.
Vegas has been a shoddy attempt at a Rainbow Six game from the beginning. Aside from that, I'm speechless about this new "widescreen" patch. Look in my screenshot - I only get one widescreen resolution. I'm running a 16:10 display that is capable of all 16:9 and 16:10 resolutions up to 1920x1200.
EDIT: Oh, actually two resolutions. 1280x720 and 1600x900. Some of the two least-common widescreen resolutions for PCs.
Are you sure it's not from back when you had the widescreen crack applied? (don't know if you did or not). Because when I applied the v1.05 patch, I still had my cracked resolution available until I deleted my old files.
The File is offline :(
Can anyone help me?
I need to change my resolution in R6:V to 800x480.
The Resolution Changer doesn't support this resolution :(
