Hello,
I applied the freelancer solution explained in this topic:
http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/

It worked like a charm yesterday night. I started a new game and played till it was really late. :)

Today I loaded my save-game and the menu was cut off. I read that the solution only works once you go to space once, but I can't go to space because the menu is cut off. The only two buttons I can see and access are the News and the Missions button.

What can I do?

I suppose I could search through my auto-saves to see if I can find one where I am in space already or at the site on a planet were the start-to-space button is visible, but I am hoping to find a abetter solution.

Thanks in advance

I haven't played the game. Is there a keyboard shortcut for that function?

No, I don't think there is one. At least there is none in the controls section in the game's menu.

In the singleplayer campaign you have to make sure to only save if you are at the correct site on a planet! Don't save in the bar or anything because that would make the save worthless as you wouldn't be able to get off the planet!

It's not really a problem. I just thought someone had found a complete solution in the mean-time.
