Having fuzzy text issue with 1 of 3 24" ASUS Mk214h

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up as I have heard of other companies LCDs having fuzzy text because of shadowing pixels.

I bought brand new ASUS mk214h 24" monitors because I liked the specs and the quick responce compared to other similar sized monitors.

They are great monitors but one has to go back because of this issue.

I am running a digital triplehead2go and have swapped cables to confirm it is the monitor not another issue.

I bought the monitor from Lagoom in case you are wondering. I will se if there is a revision sticker anywhere on the LCD.

I will call Lagoom Monday to get an exchange. I will update this thread when I discover more info.

Just wanted to update you guys.

I got my monitor exchanged and got a similar date manufactured monitor after I requested a May08 date. I got a Jan08 date and have the same text shadowing issue.

Tried it with two different cables and computers to make sure.

So watch out for Jan08 or earlier Asus monitors.
