Dungeon Keeper 2 - Playable, but...

Post by DashW »

Using this method to play Dungeon Keeper 2 in widescreen, the game itself plays great, but there is an issue:

The In-Game Options Menu.

Press during a game to bring it up...

Icons are not aligned properly, and the labels for those icons have disappeared completely. It is impossible to know whether or not your game has been saved, it is impossible to use the Options menu, impossible to load during a game... even exiting the program or returning to the main menu demands memorising the icons!

This should be made very clear in the solution, unless anyone knows of a fix?

Dungeon Keeper 2 - Playable, but...

Wow, talk about pulling up an oldie. That was from the 2nd month the site was in existence, and only our 50th forum thread. This was well before we did DRs, so we didn't know to analyze for the detail we do now. I don't remember having those issues, but that was a long time ago.

Are you using the latest patch? I think I was running something like v1.7. I'm not sure where my game disc is now, so I couldn't do a DR. Any chance you could do one?

Moving this to the discussions forum as well.

We should ask Tanuki to do a report after I send him my old Dungeon Keeper discs.

They're technically Tanuki's. I have both DK1 and 2 which i'll be sending him, both were only 1 disc AFAIK.
