Hi !

I tried, but could not get it, I can configure resolution triple screen, but when I save, the menu becomes so tight 2", and when I click on it, it makes bug the computer.

Did someone discover a piece of advice about a solution to get it workin on 3 displays ?

Hi,

I checked this already made that changes, I changed some options again, but result is still the same: I can enter the gam with Soth TH, but then the menu is stretched on the far left side, on 2 inch, and when I click anywhere I came back to windows, and if I click to render Tribes again, it crashed and display this repport:

Crash Time: 06/03/08 20:15:37

OS: Windows NT 6.0 (Build: 6000)
CPU: GenuineIntel PentiumPro-class processor @ 2672 MHz with 2047MB RAM
Video: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT with SoftTH v1.07 by Kegetys (D3D9) (303)

TV Build Number: 61735

FD3DRenderInterface::Locked, depth surface query failed(D3DERR_NOTFOUND)

History: FD3DRenderInterface::Locked <- UD3DRenderDevice::Lock <- UViewport::Lock <- UWindowsViewport::Lock <- UGameEngine::Draw <- UWindowsViewport::Repaint <- UWindowsClient::Tick <- ClientTick <- UGameEngine::Tick <- UpdateWorld <- MainLoop

So now I know somebody could get it on 38440x1024, I tried same settings, but I had not same results :)

Which FOV should I use with 3840x1024 ? (normal is 85.00)
Actually I have 2 x 1280 + 1 x 1680 22" center screen, but I adapted it on 1280x1024, to test with same base resolution as paddy with 3840x1024

Sounds like the game doesn't like SoftTH ...
I had it running on my old Parhelia ... no problem.
I have never tried it with the TH2G.

As for calculating the FOV ... check out the FOVCalc (at the top of the forum under the banner).

Neat game, I stopped playing it a long time ago when I got stuck at the trials part or something. I've been meaning to start it over again see if I can finish it, if I have a chance I'll play around with softth on it, may as well since my gpus in SLI actually slow things down so I disabled it.

It seems to work, and give a good render for this game, I need to config it with bordersize and try to get picture less extended on the extreme screens...

Problems seems to be into soft th
force hozirontal to put on 0, or MouseXoffset, it was auto, I changed for 0 or 1 ...

Little problem to access easy the menu, but when game is laoded I can access full fonction...
But I still have a problem, big, because any time my mouse goes on the left or the right screen and that I click, the game bugs completely and shut down...
Maybe a solution about this special problem ?

Yes I checke FOV calculator, but it seems to give FOV about 1 widescreen, not about 3 x scrren 1280+1680+1280 or triple 1280
I choose 150, I do not know how to calcul this.

( it seems that my graphic board show lower temperature when multiscreen compare to simple screen, this seems not to be normal :)

I'm looking about a program to check FPS while a game is playing, is that possible to find this, I checked only really complexes way :)

I remember something like STAT FPS at the console showed it ingame, most unreal engine based games have it.

To enable the console add -console to the .exe shortcut
and it's accessed by tab.

I tried Fraps, just enough to me :)
I inally understand how are running games.

I test farcry full options seems minimum 30 max 60 fps

Over McRae 2005 I get 28 max, 25 average, and 14 minimum fps, this means when I go under 24 fps that I can see display sometimes stopping when race is really fast? What you think about, should a better graphic card make this better or is that a problem from the game?

It could be a number of things ...
I suggest you put your system specs in your signature ... (like mine below).
