Widesreen in STEAM games and WoW ???

Hi, I've got one problem....
I want to create some movie in the near future in resolution 1280x720 for high quality - from css or wow...
But I can't set aspect ratio from 4:3 to 16:9 (for STEAM games it's just locked ...) Same problem in wow...where I can't choose or see any widescreen resolution. It's rly strange bcs i can choose aspect ratio 16:9 in Call of Duty 4 and it works.

I've got gpu ASUS N7900GT, and monitor ACER AL1951Cs...
So if anyone know what to do with this problem pls help me :)[/img]

WoW and Source engine games use your system's list of available resolutions to determine what is available to you in game. Since you have a 5:4 monitor, 16:9 resolutions are not available by default. Use your graphics card's config utility to add custom 16:9 resolutions and they will show up in game. you will also need to turn of aspect scaling if you want your videos to look right.

The COD4 16:9 resolution is a fluke. Guess you are just lucky.
