Thx, was just looking for that thread.
3360x1050?
I want to try play company of heroes in 3360x1050. How can I do this? Can anyone help?
Company of Heroes
1. Make sure Company of Heroes supports that res.
2. Get two 16:10 widescreen monitors with a native resolution of 1680x1050 or greater.
3. Get a video card that can drive 3360x1050 at acceptable framerates.
4. Connect the monitors to the video card
5. Span your Windows desktop horizontally across two monitors at a resolution of 3360x1050.
6. Select 3360x1050 as the Company of Heroes res.
7. Play Company of Heroes.
8. Get extremely frustrated at the fact that you have monitor bezels in the center of your view.
Dual-head gaming is tough for this reason.

I would prefer to have the control panel just in the middle screen if possible, unstretched.
If you look at the mini map you can see how wide the FoV is. The 2nd capture is taken at the default camera angle, and is what you'd normally play with.
Any chance of getting a 4:3/5:4 and Surround comparison set?

If you cut the left and right squares that is what 5:4 looks like, except the menu will be unstretched and also slighty shorter (game changes menu height based on width).

Re: Company of Heroes
Sorry to bump this.
But Ive been trying to get this game to work in portrait, but it says that it cant find a correct resolution when booting.
Im using 3600x1920 because landscape stretches everything too much. Has anyone else had luck?

Ive tried everything, this game refuses to boot.
I even tried force resolution with softth. Even when I stopped playing, this game continues to frustrate me.
