Unreal Tournament 2007

I've wondered that theres no topic open. :lol:

What do you think about the new Unreal Tournament? What are you thinking about the graphic, physic and performance? Finally what do you think about the new gamemode (don't know what its like).

I'm really excited about the new UT, I played UT 2003 about a 3/4 year and it still made fun. UT 2004 wasn't "the game" for me, don't know why. Maybe because there was no real difference. I really hope that UT 2007 will rock again! :D

When will the game be released?!

So, what do you think about it? ^^

I think its safe to assume the graphics will be pretty awesome :).

I'd also have to say you're like the odd man out :P. Almost everyone hated 2003 and loved 2004 :P.

Another improvement to graphics, another game that needs a monster system to play it.

I guess you could say I'm underwhelmed.

But I'm still looking forward to it - especially if play.com sell it for Ã‚Â£18 like they did 2004... :D

Why has everbody hated UT2003 and loved UT2004? Explain it to me :lol:

While I myself didn't hate 2003, I definitely loved 2004 more. Why? One word, Onslaught :P.

I hated 2003 and never really gave 2004 a chance.

I loved the first UT though. It was the prefect online FPS. Fast paced, pleanty of awesome levels, and the capture the flag mode was amazing.

I played the other ones and while it was fun, nothing ever compaired to the original.

2004 was 2003, but with Onslaught. Which was really fun. :)

I didn't like the onslaugt-mode, most of the guys on the servers (in my team) where playing bullshit, that was a few weeks after the release. After one month or something like that, I've never played it again. :/

Ive had no problems getting the original UT to work on XP.... what problem did you have?

UT2004 was fun because of all the vehicles, and you could go back and play almost every UT map released.

UT2007 will be fun, but UT is more of a short-burst LAN game. You may play for a couple of hours for a few laughs then move on. But it's so much fun.

Thats another thing that annoyed me about UT2003! The way they totally runined the sniper rifle! Did they ever sort that out in 2004?

It was my fav weapon in the first UT. That and the shock rifle (which they also ruined the feel of!!).

They reintroduced the sniper rifle, but the 'Lightning Gun' was still their favourite sniper weapon to place on maps.

To be honest, I think they were trying to stop snipers in Facing Worlds - but totally screwed the guns for everything else, too...

UT 2004 was truly an awesome online experience. 8)

I loved the intuitive vehicle integration and the ability to pair up with people on buggies and tanks. For some reason, this was also one of the few multiplayer online games that had the least swearing and playa-hating going on. Maybe the action was too intense for people to stop and type..? :wink:

I was a big fan of that coop mode where every human player had to fight off waves of AI monsters.

I haven't really been following up on the 2007 version, with the exception of hearing that it was going to be delayed. Not sure if that is true or not though?

Does anyone have some links to videos/previews/screens?
