Old Games Streched?

Hey Guys,

I'm an RPG fan I play all the classics from Baldurs Gate etc to newer games like Oblivion.

I'm planning on buying a widecreen 20" monitor however I've read that old games may not be playable on a widescreen.

Is this the case? Will they be really streched, or will there simply be borders?

Your video drivers should have an option saying "centered timings" or "fixed aspect scaling" or "1:1 scaling", simply enable this to have borders and no stretching.

Oh I would love to play classic Diablo II in widescreen. Think of what you could accomplish as an Amazon!
