I purchased the digitally distributed version of this game from EB games
both of your fixes don't seem to work with the unpatched version of the game :cry:
I made the mistake of trying to apply the regular patch to my version ,and have to redownload it again,and then going to try Racer_S' patch another time. :(
I noticed this D/L for the FOV is from TOCAEDIT.... is there a file available got TOCA 3 or TOCA 2 I have both and can not get them to work in TH2G... 3 runs in it, but the menu is skewed...!
Hey Guys.... I'm havong a problem! I installed the game and the version is 4.0.7.0 also, unless I'm doing it wrong... I can't get the program to switch when hitting the * key.
Wonder why my version is 4.0.7.0????
When you execute the FOV tool and select the screen resolution.... there is no apply key or enter key. Is this how it works?
Dang it..... wanted to run this in TH2G.

Firstly ... in future please post questions like this on the forum ...
As far as I am aware there is no Patch for the game but it could be that the game patches it's self when you load it ...
The FOV tool is for the v4.060 of the game ( I can't remember but I think that is the release version of the game or as I mentioned it could be that the game downloads a patch when you start it up).
Download the FOV tool from here ... http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/8555
Run the tool ... set the preset for your monitors ...
Start the game ... once the race is loaded press the * key on your number pad to enable the FOV correction.
That is it ...

The tool is only designed to work with v4.060.
I don't know how it does what it does but all you need to do is as I said ...
Run the tool ... set the preset for your monitors ... leave it running ... Start the game ... once the race is loaded press the * key on your number pad to enable the FOV correction.
(That is the star key)
BUT ... like I say it probably only works with v4.060 as that is all it was made for.
As for the TOCA game ... I don't think you can get them to work in TH
The green text indicates something I forgot to mention ... :oops:
It was me... when you lunch the tool and select the resolution and leave it running you then need to select the correct graphic option in the rally game launcher, and I stated I had the filter for aspect ratio checked and it was keeping me frojm seeing the otehr graphic options.
Duh! :oops: Once I removed the check all was good and the tool still works with 4.0.7.0. Sorry for the confusion but I got it to work and Thanks again and thanks to Racer_S
Now to check it out!
BTW.... is there any other edits tools like this that support TH2G for Toca/F1C or F1 2002? Just wondering.... work very well.
