I know what you mean but actually it plays quite well ... just feels a little odd at first with the small/zoomed weapon.

Weapons looking better ...
1280x1024

Setting up the gun for TripleHead is a little tricky as there are many ways to have the gun ... here are the better ones ...

Very cool, Paddy my man. Keep it up - you are on the sharpest part of the cutting edge right now. Though I have to admit - as much as I enjoy tweaking, I don't want to get on the wrong side of punkbuster; i've heard it's notoriously hard to clear your ip once their software identifies you as using an unauthorized modification.

Also, we gotta work on getting that PB&J un-squished!

Thanks Buddy ...
Yeah we don't want anyone to get on the wrong side of Punkbuster ... including ourselves ... :D
I am in discussion with Racer_S in this regard ... may be once we have finalised the tool maybe we will send it to Punkbuster to have it checked out/approved ...or not ...as the case maybe.

Racer_S is also having a look at getting the HUD etc. on to the centre screen ... 8) ... but there is no guarantee as it may not be possible or worth the effort if we can't get Punkbuster on our side.

??? Why have the pics in the first post changed and why are they now of a game apparently called "Condemned: Criminal Origins" (as the first post text says)?

P.S - I can see the pics just fine. Same for the old BF2 pics.

The links to the pics had been broken, due to a server move on my part. Paddy re-uploaded them. I went through and updated all the posts. I acceidentally posted the code from the Condemned post into this one. Should be better now.

I can't describe, in words like many of you here, how angy it makes me when games like BF2 have such troubles in widescreen. It was forever until they added support for the standard resolution of 1280x1024...

I wish you all luck, at finding a solution to the problems with BF2, and I will even help if I can once I revieve my 24" Acer LCD.

Wheres the download? :)

Here you go ... http://dl.tocaedit.com/bf2FOV2.rar

Just put the contents of the rar into your BF2 folder ...
Start the hack before you start the game ... leave it running whilst you play.
Instructions for the keys to change the FOV etc. are displayed by the tool.
After playing the game just close the tool.

... if you use it with a Punkbuster server you will be kicked. ...

I don't like cheaters, at all, but PB truly sucks. PunkBuster should allow the FOV to be wider if it detects you running a resolution like 3840x1024 so it knows you're running a widescreen setup.

As a matter of fact, I don't think PB should be able to kick you for it at all. Did you know, if a server moderator chooses, he can make Punkbuster kick you if your mouse sensitivity was too high for example?

I have asked Racer_S if he could update it for the latest patch ...
