I can't seem to get a widescreen option. Please correct me if I'm wrong but there's no setting in game and no posted solution here.

Anyways, as it stands now I've got to play with black bars or a distorted screen.

I'm brand new to the widescreen world (see post count) so any help would be much appreciated.

I think HOI/HOI II and many paradox games are hard coded with a resolution of 1024*768 or lower. You cann't change that. And no widescreen solution either.
