Switched to dvi now my desktop is extended...

Ok heres my problem i was running my Gateway FPD1975W monitor on VGA for a couple months well now, Decided to switch to dvi so i could experience the 720p resolution. I connect it and then im like :shock: my screen is extended. Its at its native resolution but for some reason i can mouse over past the screen and it moves to the side :x Its super annoying and the picture looks like crap. I have no clue what to do. I checked the cables on my xbox to the monitor... Good, reinstalled drivers... still nothing! I noticed there are 2 options that have been grayed out if anyone can hook me up with some advice i will be super happy. Asap 8)

Its the new Nvidia drivers, 162.18 to be exact. There is a problem with 1440x900 being displayed.

Revert back to older drivers and it should fix the problem. Hopefully Nvidia will fix this with newer drivers.....
