LOL, this game sure sounds like a very well programmed PC game.

I've been posting in the EAForums about this problem, but as yet no real help. I've tried their registry fix without sucess.
I bought the game for the missus and she has almost completed it now at 1440x900, I turned off the scaling so at least it looks sharp, but has the black borders.
It is running on a e6600 with a 8800gtx, I don't know what sort of method they are running to determine the optimum settings, but it is frustrating that the user has no control over the resolution.
It seems a bit pointless now looking for a fix, since she has nearly finished it, but she may want to play through it again and I would like to resolve the issue.
I'm going to keep pushing EA for a fix. I'm disapointed that they have give us no control over the settings. I suppose we should consider ourselves lucky, being able to run it at 1440x900, I've seen reports of people stuck at 1024x768.
I'll keep working on it and post a fix, if I ever find one !!!!!!
