Oddly, MGS2 for PC supports widescreen, but she maxes out at 1600x1000 for some STRANGE reason. Running it at that resolution beats the living shit outta my computer though. Pulling MAYBE 5fps at certain scenes. If anybody else out there has this game, I'd like to see if they could come up with a way for it to run at 1920x1200 in full screen mode... It will let you do it in Windowed, but that doesn't work so well.
If I get it working I'll post pictures :)

I picked this up cheap at one point, but it had such horrific issues that I managed to return it. When a game installs nearly 9GB of stuff to my HDD, I expect it to run better than '640x480x16@min detail'...
Even with those settings I don't think it did better than 10fps. I ended up picking up a PS2 version of Substance...

Dya think they stole a copy of battlefield 2, changed the skins and optimized it a bit?

Oh by all means, MGS2 is probably the worst port I've EVER seen. You can have a monster machine and it STILL slows down on every cutscene pretty much.
And ya know why it's 9GB of data??? It's 90% .bmp and .wav files in simple .dat archives... It's scary... Like I said, worst port, ever.
And you're offered a great number of resolutions, just not above what I said above.
