Hi@all

try this

Icon on desktop with

x:...fifa.exe resolution=1366x768x32

runs for 1920x1200x32 at my laptop
1920x1080x32 gives a crash at laptop (could be the screen)

Simply , but great...

Welcome to the forum.

Do you have to put the tag resolution=1366x768x32 in the path in the properties? Little explanation please.

1920x1080 ... shouldn't that be 1920x1200 or 1680x1050 ... :?:

Oh and ... is there any chance you could post a couple of screenshots taken from exactly the same spot ... one at 4:3 and the other widescreen ?

Yes, sorry i'm German, my English isn't very ...

You should change the properties of the Icon in:

...fifa06.exe resolution=1920x1200x32

1920 for the Bride
1200 for the height

Tried different resolution!

1600x900x32

etc.

Gibt es eine Chance, die Sie ein paar screenshots aufstellen kÃƒÂ¶nnten, der von genau dem gleichen Fleck genommen wird,... Ein um 4:3 und der ander widescreen?

You need to find some sort of free web hosting of photos ... there are quite a few out there just google for em ... :)

Then use the code for posting images like this ...

1. Make a shortcut for the game
2. right click said shortcut, go to properties
3. in the target box, after everything that is already written in there, type resolution=1680x1050x32 or whatever resolution you want
4. ????????
5. PROFIT!

this is BS it doesnt work, "The anme 'C:Program FilesEA SPORTSFIFA 06fifa06.exe resolution=1280x800x32 specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct. This is what comes up and it doesnt work..any help?

Two other people seem to think that they have it working ... so I doubt it is BS ... :wink:
See the screenshots by bernardos70 in his post above.
The second screenshot looks very much like widescreen to me ... but it does look stretched :?

That said ... your shortcut says ...

fifa06.exe resolution=1280x800x32

lui56 says in his post above ...

May be this has something to do with your problem ... ?

Why would anyone BS anyone else in this forum? Your target box should look like this:

"R:gamesEA SPORTSFIFA 06FIFA06.exe" resolution=1680x1050x32

Of course, the path is different for you but it ends the same way.
