FEAR problems

hi to all. heard so much about the game got me hands on it. loaded no probs. once i start the game the screen is black with not responding. My TH2GO says the game is optimised!!! does anyone have any ideas please. probably me!!!

pentium dual 3.4ghz
2GB ddr
7900gt GPU
