NEW RESIDENT EVIL 2 NEEDS HELP!

Post by Funkengreuven »

I never played this game the first time around, but it sure looks good. It's a shame it crops top & bottom of screen in Nvidia Surround (7680x1440). Anyone know how to fix this or can someone release a patch/trainer? It's only been out for a couple hours, so I figured I'd kick off a post to get a fix started if one is possible. Wish I knew how to do it myself...

The patches from the demo made by Jackfuste work for the full release.

You need the fov patch and the vignette patch. Download, place in folder with the .exe, run each application.

The only thing missing to me, is HUD isn't centered, but actually that may be good, more atmospheric, and the game pace is slow enough it's not a problem.

Also, unlike the demo, the cutscene remain 16:9, which actually I prefer, because there will be pop-in on the side screens otherwise. I prefer as designed here.

Enjoy! Consider donating. I will

BTW, how's your performance at that resolution? I'm at 5880x1080, and mostly getting 50% gpu usage, but I havent had a single dip, and I want to keep it that way. (2080 Ti).
