triple monitor gaming

So I've tried to get a triple monitor display, but I can only get a double display. When I open up the "NVIDIA Control Panel" and select the "Configure Surround" tab, I can select the option "Span displays with surround". But when I press configure, it says in the "NVIDIA Set Up Surround" below the usable displays window that I can only select 2 displays. I have a high-end gaming pc and all of the displays are wired into the GPU while I believe that's not even necessary. So 3 displays, the two on the outside are with a display wire to a DVI and the middle one is just HDMI. In the "NVIDIA Set Up Surround" I can select all 3 displays to get a multi-monitor display but I can't get 3 at the same time. Please help me, thanks

When you are in the surround setup screen, do you have 1x3 or 1x2 as your selection under the 'Topology' drop down menu?
