ultrawide on psp game?

Hi, so I'm new here, but I've been stumped on this for quite a while. So this is in regards to emulation. I know that on PS2 there have been patches made per game to allow them to play in widescreen mode. http://ps2wide.net/a.html

I was successfully able to alter these codes to get the ps2 games I wanted to play in ultrawide. I did this by using cheat engine to look up the hex's that were altered with the plain widescreen patch.

Now I'm trying to do a similar thing with a psp game.

This is about all the information I can find on how to do this with psp. I have no idea how to apply this. I tried using cheat engine again and I figured I'm either using it incorrectly or I need another program to do this. If anyone on here has any information they can share with me, or can point me in a direction where I can get some useful information that would be fantastic!
