Emperor Rise of the Middle Kingdom Widescreen Issue

Hi, Can anyone help?

I am running the original Sierra/impressions game. It works fine and has done for many years.

I have tried to get the widescreen crack to work but no joy.

My native graphic is 1360 X 768, but no luck on any of the resolutions work.

Running from the Disk I get an issue with DATA\China_unloaded.sg3 ; and other terminators.

I do notice the size of the Emperor.exe original is 5512kb but the replacement is 4708kb

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Finally got my head in gear.
I forgot to copy just the included files and to replace them into the DATA file, leaving all the rest in place.

Started the game, chose the highest res; all fixed, great ....
