I didn't find any solution so I hope somebody can help get true widescreen in Dead to Rights. In graphics menu I can choose 1920x1080 but the game is stretch. PS2 version support true widescreen nativly, so maybe there is an also chance to get widescreen without stretching in the PC version.
In Dead to Rights 2 there is also the same problem witch stretching in widescreen.

Use the Racer_S Dead To Rights FOV Hack. The "Width Field of View" option probably adjusts the aspect ratio (I don't have this game).

If you're not sure what value would look correct for 16:9 you could compare this against a screenshot of a 4:3 resolution made without this fix.

I don't know if good use this hack. I copied this file to game folder, run and set up different values. But there is no effect. The game is still stretched. Of course I didn't closed this file when game was running.
