My Asus PG348Q 34" Curved Gaming Monitor and Fallout 4...

Post by PCDesignerR »

Is anyone using this monitor:

ASUS ROG SWIFT 34-inch Curved G-SYNC Gaming 3D Monitor [PG348Q] 1440p IPS Ultra-Wide 21:9 Aspect Ratio, 3440 x 1440 UWQHD Full HD Display with Pivot, Tilt, and Swivel, ASUS EyeCare

to Play Fallout 4?

I know of the means to set the resolution correctly for the game by way of going into Nvidia GeForce Experience and optimizing the game, but I have heard that there is a way to set the correct resolution within Documents > My Games > Fallout 4 > Fallout4Prefs.ini. Do you know what lines need to be edited to give the game the option of a 3440x1440 resolution so that the game will display correctly by default?

Thanks for any help! :D

There's a whole topic regarding Fallout 21:9 here with various levels of success:

Ask there and maybe the 21:9 peps can help you out.
