Hello from Belgium + 6400x1080 question

Hello, Belgian here, pc gaming since the commodore 64 era, been using two 21.5" 1080 monitors for years now and just ordered a 29" ultrawide to put in the middle.

Rig is a heavily overclocked 3570K + Crossfire 7850 combination.

Having just ordered that 29" ultrawide I've become a bit concerned by the difference in height, the screen height is 0.88 inches more, roughly 1 centimeter more top & bottom. I know for work this is OK, but do you guys think this might be distracting in gaming at 6400x1080 resolutions?

Possibly a little, but if the game has any sort of immersion at all then I don't think it should be a huge problem!
