Counter Strike: Global Offensive GUI Messed Up

When I'm playing CS:GO, everything works fine, except for things in the GUI like the team list while in game, the loading menu, the menu after the game, and the fullscreen in-game map. I have found a site that says someone made a flawless widescreen fix for this, but I am yet to find it. I have also tried shrinking down the GUI, but it does not seem to change the size of the menus. If anyone knows a fix, could they please let me know. Thank you
