but i dont mind playing at 4x3 just tat does anyone knows how to run in window mode or scale to proper 4x3 on my 19" inch lcd??

my viewsonic lcd doesnt let me adjust it manually with hardware, any software to do it??

my native is 1440x900. using a nvidia geforce 7900gtx.

its been forever i been looking for tools like the one in ATI driver, tat let you auto scale to 4x3 on lower resolution like 1024x768 becomes 4x3 with black bars on side while playing...

I have also tried to get this to 1680x1050 with no luck hope someone with some know how has an interest in this game and comes up with a fix because it would look awesome at 1680x1050!!!
So please anyone with the skills to fix such a great game please consider it.

no help guys??? any idea how to run at window mode in 1024x768 on my 1440x900 back ground?

There is an option to run the game windowed under Options>Graphics

Use the resolution tweaker stickied in this forum.
It works just fine, with the exception of the load screens.

Thanks for the tip, but the resolution changer doesn't fix the stretching.

Hey, I used the UNIWS patcher, Set game to run at 640x480 Res and exit game, Run UNIWS use the need for speed 2 profile Rename the top spin 2.exe in the game folder C:/programs/Aspyr/topspin2/data to SPEED2.exe enter required res and patch leave it named speed2.exe and play game. Doesn't look streched to me and looks Very nice at my monitors native res. Sweeeeet, :D :D :D :D Let me no if this works for others. Peace Out

Just to add to my earlier post, The resolution is working for menus and loading screens and of course the game its self.

Ollie it doesn't work for me... i've got a Error when i patch the .exe "Please close all this programs"... all the programs are closed lol

for UNIWS patcher to work , u have to used the no-cd cracked EXE to edit, not the original EXE file,

but anyhow, i tried it, it works, but once ingame it looks like ta players all are smurf tennis players

all screech ~~ we need some proper wide screen mode and Fov edit ..

Same here. so no proper wide yet...

And some info... you can change the game resolution in this "option file":

"C:Documents and Settings%user profile%Configurações locaisDados de aplicativosAspyrTop Spin 2videoOptions.txt" (my WinXP is PT-BR)

WinXp Enlgish it should be:

"C:Documents and Settings%user profile%Local SettingsApplication DataAspyrTop Spin 2videoOptions.txt"

initialWindowWidth = XXXX
initialWindowHeight = XXX

But, again, all stretch anyway...

and not only it have FOV problems it have weird physic glitch too, try using female players, thier breast's physics is missing, all weird, and lagging when ta players walks around. just weird~~

I believe that's default.
If you can get the Aspect ratio and FOV working correctly as well as the resolution it would make this a whole lot better!
