Solution to Ultra Wide screen Monitor issue.
Step 1- Use Notepad to open Settings.xml in C:\Steam\userdata\<user-id>\273350\local\USER\Profiles\default
Step 2- Change: <Attr name="settings/screenresheight" value="1440"/>
Step 3- Change: <Attr name="settings/screenreswidth" value="2560"/>
(Now your menus will function properly.)
Step 4- Use Notepad to open system.cfg in C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\EvolveGame
Step 5- Add: cl_fov_merc = 100
Step 6- Add: cl_fov_monsterThirdPerson = 100
(Increases FoV)
Step 7- Change: r_height = 1080
Step 8- Change: r_width = 2560
(This sets your resolution in the game itself.)

Hi,

Seems I have the same display, I can see it works for you on a youtube vid you uploaded but cant seem to get it to work for me.

When I first went into setting.xml, I didnt see the options for screenresheight and screenreswidth. I added the lines, but nothing....

Would it be possible to upload your file so I can grab it?

Cheers

I seem to have run into the same issue as Rifte, with those lines not existing, and adding them not making a difference.

It just uses the user profile/setting resolution instead (2560x1440) and stretches it to fit the screen.

If anyone is interested they patched the game this morning and fixed all the issues with multi monitor. The menu aspect ratios are fixed, but he 2D elements are rendered on the outside screens. Still it is running flawlessly beyond that.
