Club3D 4 Port (CSV-5400) & NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570

Post by Relaxin »

Hey guys... first time poster, long time lurker...

I need a little help. I just purchased a Club3D 4 port CSV-5400 and my system has a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 card installed. I didn't realize it until after I made the purchase that the has 2 DVI and 1 Mini HDMI port. At a quick glance I though it was a Display port.

Anyway, my question is this which cable to I need to purchase to connect the Club hub to the Mini HDMI connector. I've been looking around and have not seen any... Please note, I will be connecting all 4 monitors to the system. If it makes a difference the monitors are 4x Asus 24" monitors...

Thank you for any help...Rick

Hi,

Using an adapter will not Work.
Displayport 1.2 has enough bandwidth for 4 FullHD streams and is Multistream compatible, so you can send different video streams trough one cable.
Thats how the MST Hub works, it splits the incoming streams to each monitor.

Now if you use a HDMI or DVI output on your card you cannot get multiple streams trough one cable, therefore the MST Hub will not work.
It MIGHT work if you card could send a DP signal over the HDMI port out, but i don't think the GTX570 can do this.

doesn't look good :(
We gonna send it to outa space!
