Re: Gigabyte 5770 3 monitors set up
Does every monitor alone work?
What happens when you use the other DVI port on the GPU ?

yes, monitors work perfectly and i can use it to two dvi ports for two monitors but then others two dont work

2+2= 4?
Are you sure you have an Active DP to DVI adapter?

Re: Gigabyte 5770 3 monitors set up
I ment i use it in two dvi d outputs then DP and HDMI wont work
ofcourse i can connect DVI D + HDMI and DVI D but only two will work :/
Re: Gigabyte 5770 3 monitors set up
Totally sounds like a passive DP -> DVI adapter.

Re: Gigabyte 5770 3 monitors set up
I would agree with Haldi, the DP-=>DVI Adapter looks and sounds like it behaves like a passive adapter.
You will require an active adapter to be able to enable more than 2 monitors at any one time.

I use one of these http://store.hp.com/UKStore/Merch/Produ ... =&sel=BACC.
Worked great on my HD5850 and now my 290 as well (and now that I have a 290 I should probably look at the back of my case...)

Re: Gigabyte 5770 3 monitors set up
Oh thats a VGA adapter not a DVI.... Okay.
Well on the 290 you dont need the adapter anymore! This card supports 2x DVI and HDMI Nativ.

Re: Gigabyte 5770 3 monitors set up
How can i tell if it's passive or active adapter ( In ebay description they wrote active
)
Re: Gigabyte 5770 3 monitors set up
Active ones usually have some kind of power requirement usually a usb cable.
Re: Gigabyte 5770 3 monitors set up
Nope, not anymore.
There are a few Dp-DVI (not dual) active adaptera that don't need an external Power source anymore
