New really old dude
New really old dude
Retired/Disabled Senior that leaves near Fort Worth, Texas. I really am not a gamer, but have been messing with sims, like Falcon-4, iRacing, and DCS World for over 15 years. They support multi monitors, so I thought I should learn to screw something else up and here I be. Have triple ASUS ve248qe monitors and an Acer FT220 touch screen in a 3/1 and the touch screen is on top. Was running them with a Sapphire HD7970 vapor-x 6gb card until two weeks ago when I decided to clean out the dirt and cat hair (both my cat and I have PTSD, so we look at each other like we are nuts) and it went down. I have not had time to mess with it, but will either get it to work or get a new card shortly. Lumper

Re: New really old dude
Thanks for the warm welcome. I do not think my card is dead, but the bios is just being stupid and not wanting to find the graphics card. I probably will first update the bios (they have had a new one out for over a year, but I just hate to flash anything until it breaks) and then reinstall the card. I had a real problem getting it to work when I installed it about 18 months ago, and it never reported the amount of memory correct in windows 7.
