The Crew is a co-op focused, sudo MMO, racing game from Ivory Towers, the game is designed around the idea of teaming up with 1-3 of your friends in a crew and to race, chase and cruise together, however it can be played solo, you still need to be connected to the world though. The games multi-monitor support is very good, it's horizontal plus and runs at 5040x1050 by default. The UI is centred, all the options and HUD elements work, there is a small mouse position issue with the map but nothing that effects he game play.

How rare/common are working mirrors in racing games these days?

Almost never, they don't even give fake rear-view mirrors anymore regardless of your camera position.

The Crew is quite extreme in this regard, though. There are hellicious reflections everywhere on the car, the rear-view mirrors even work when you're in garages and shops, then you get these ugly grey textures to look at from the driver's seat

The HUD is not really centered btw, it's just constrained to 16:9. It makes a big difference for UWS, especially if you like to use the expanded minimap, like I do...
Also that FOV Offset slider is greyed out in standard/widescreen resolutions. Why ? No clue.
The garage and half of the cut-scenes being windowboxed is sad, too. They eventually fixed this sort of things in TDU2, so fingers crossed.

All in all, a great fun vast game, anyway. Totally worthy of a big-ass vid à la Skid.

I'm really grateful that i had the chance to play the beta!
had a lot of fun there. But i don't think i'll have long time motivation in this game.
To much small races and achievements, and i don't really like the main story.

Just a headup to anyone trying to play the crew in eyefinity, since its free on ubisoft this month. It only works with cataylist drivers 14.4 NO other drivers allow this game to be run in eyefinity.
