Crossfired - Eyefinity - Bezel Comp. Issue

Post by soapbox »

Hi,

im new to this forum and new to the widescreen gaming in general.

i just upgraded my gaming rig to:

2x Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X OC and 3x Asus VG248QE

As soon as i enable bezel compensation on this configuration all 3d application get massive fps drops down to like 4-5 FPS. And after a while the AMD display driver crashes.

Everything is smooth without bezel compensation.
Running just from one card (disabled crossfire) bezel compensation works like a charm.
Just the configuration crossfire + bezelcompensation doesnt work.

Problem exists with driver 13.12 as well as the new beta 14.1

Displays are currently hooked up via 2x DVI and 1x DP -> DVI Cable. Running currently on 60HZ due to limitation of the DP->DVI cable.

OS is (multiple times) fresh installed windows 7 sp1 x64.

Mainboard is: AsRock z68 Extreme 4 gen 3 (latest Bios latest Drivers)

Has anyone had the same issues with a simmilar setup?
Do you guys have any ideas how to solve this issue?
