Assassin's Creed III is a historical action-adventure open world stealth video game developed by Ubisoft. It is the fifth major installment and the third numbered title in the Assassin's Creed series, and a direct sequel to 2011's Assassin's Creed: Revelations.
The main portion of Assassin's Creed III is set before, during and after the American Revolution from 1753 to 1783, featuring a new half English and half Mohawk protagonist; Ratonhnhaké:ton (play /ˈrəduːnˈhəɡeɪduːn/; "Ra-doon-ha-gay-doon"), also known by the adopted name of "Connor". In addition to the historical period, the game also features the "present day" setting, where series protagonist Desmond Miles must adventure to prevent the 2012 apocalypse, as his story develops and reaches a conclusion.
The game follows the series’ standard open world gameplay in the Desmond and Haytham/Connor Sequences, where the game’s main story takes place. New gameplay additions include muskets and rifles, which can be fired at a considerable reload time, or used as a melee weapon. Hiding places can now be mobile, such as haystacks in wagons or moving carts, which can be used to sneak up closer to targets. Disguises can also be worn, fooling normal troops and only risking investigation by officers.
Free running has been modified to allow for more fluid, parkour-like movement over certain obstacles. Exploration has also been modified, allowing for map areas to be revealed without requiring a viewpoint synchronization. Close combat has been modified, slowing during blocks to allow for more options in attack and defence. Human shields can be taken against firing lines of enemies. Assassin’s Creed III features new weather simulations such as snow, fog, and rain. Depending on the seasons, weather determines how enemies/players will move around. Heavy snowfall makes it more difficult to travel.
Hi, AC3 ingame is hor + or anamorphic? (as previous episodes) The summary says that the game is hor+, but the ingame pictures show that in 4:3 there are black bars, and only with the anamorphic may be black bars.

Sorry, wrong selections. It is anamorphic on single screens, but Hor+ in multi-monitor.
Hi, I need some advice. I'm good with black strips on sides, let it be. But the problem is with the multiplayer in this game. It's just use 1920x1080 and makes the picture wider. This is just horrible. I'm new to this problems, is there some fixes or else? Is there possible to do something, to save true aspect Ratio?
Hi, is there some solution for the multiplayer? 1920x1080 is just avaible resolution but it makes the picture wider (no black strips). Can we save the aspect ratio and play fullscreen? There is no window mode either.
I was impressed by your 16:10 patch for Assassin's Creed IV, jackfuste.
If I may ask, how did you manage to edit the .exe in the first place? I have no coding experience and have only dabbled in hex editing, and I can't figure out how you're able to do it! Very impressive.
The reason I'm posting this here is because I'm wondering whether there exist an equivalent patch for Assassin's Creed III If not, would you be able create one?
Hi Jack, you save my life with the 16:10 version of the launcher Assassins Creed Black Flag, Thank You! So, can you make a 16:10 version of the launcher of Assassins creed 3 uplay version?? If you do it you will save my life again. Thanks.
i've a problem, the game works only on one single monitor for me, even with the fixed .exe here (For Uplay version - UPLAY_AssassinsCreed_3_BlackBars_FIX.7z)
i think it's because i didn't find a way to choose our resolution in the options, do you know where it is ? (i'm on 2560 x 1440 and i'd like to choose 7680 x 1440)
