1. ditch norton. quick. go to the library and download avg or avast - both are free, and many times better than norton or the other expensive ones.

2. get more ram. i repeat - get more ram. no self-respecting computer should have less than 2x256mb. personally i run 2x512mb. just about right for a 3000+ on a dual channel mobo.

i couldnt imagine being stuck on a sub 28.8 line these days.
