Looking for UniWS Patcher

Hi WSGF community,

I'm looking for UniWS Patcher to play some old games widescreen. However the download link to it is broken, and there is no "download button" as stated in various posts. And Google searches all point back to this forum (directly or indirectly).

Is it still available? Am I missing something? Or has it been erased from the cyberspace for unspeakable acts?

Where is the download link broken? If you can let me know, i can fix it. I am sure we'll find a few of them as we have moved sites.

I was looking under the page for Uru specifically. It says use the "Download" button at the top, but there is none... ah wait there it is, under Tools -> Software! Ok stupid me :P

However, links in old forum posts point to this downloads page, which I'm guessing got squashed when your site got updated. Google searches do the same. I spose there's not alot you can do about Google... big no-no for other sites to make direct links anyway, ah what can ya do.

Lastly, searching for "uniws patcher" in the WSGF site returns no hits to the thing itself, only posts for games where it's mentioned, and possibly pointing off to the defunct downloads page... although maybe I'm going blind ;)

I've fixed the DR for Uru and will go through the other games that UniWS supports and fix any links there too.

resurrecting an old thread here, but its a top hit on google. i was trying to play some old games that need UniWS and a quick search brought me here. looks like both links are toast now
