Game is hor+ but enemy health and minimap are on the wrong screens!

Hopefully someone! I'm playing this also and I'll get some screens up later - but the hud is spanned and the FOV is terrible too.

The Problem is that this is a MMORPG. So fixing this might cause problems with the anti cheat engine they use.

Did you contact the developers about this Problem ?
We gonna send it to outa space!

I speak to Hayden a bit and I know that he's under the pump updating his software and other games promised to others, so I wont expect the man to be able to look at it too quickly, but at this stage he is definitely our best hope - defiance has a few issues and making it surround friendly will be low on the list. I would be more super happy to just have the FOV adjustable. The UI definitely needs to be centred, to start with FOV! :)

Yeah FOV isn't great at all but it's still a lot better than single screen.

To be honest I could play it like this IF the enemy health showed up on the center. Without it you can't make decisions on when to stop shooting, which target to kill next, stuff like that..

If I play on 5760x1080 sometimes the textures going invisible for about 3 secs.

Anyone got this too?

Yeah I get that, but even playing at 1920x1080 it does the same thing

Can't say I've noticed it - the only anomaly I've seen is the shadows flicker when I hit turbo on my vehicle - not sure if this is a issue I have introduced through nvidia inspector (enabling SLI, ambient occulsion, etc) or even sweetfx.

I get the disappearing texture problem as well, can notice it slightly sometimes at 1920x1080, but gets progressively worse the wider the resolution. Also textures only disappear on certain sections of the maps, ran through whole training area and most of the first zone before having these issues.
Running medium settings fixes this for some reason and doesn't look much worse.

Playing at 2560 * 1080 (U2913MW user)

I noticed nameplates for enemies shifted left of their model

And some locations caused geometry to pop in and out, which was rather sickening...literally...for me ;)

UI looked fine a 21:9 otherwise.

Had to reduce to 1920*1080 though, was making me ill all that pop out/in going on :(

Raised a bug using in game systems.

I tried to contact them but it seems that they ignoring this.

i tweeted about 5 times, posted 8 threads in the defiance forums, contacted their support and also called the U.S. and UK Studio of Trion with no reply to this.

The FOV is terrible. I simply can't play games with this small of an FOV. I hope a fix comes along as at this point, it's $60 down the drain.

Their Support told me that they have no anti-cheat system but they can't promise that it's allowed and safe to use such a fix. :think:

Some have solved with the new patch. Now with the preview of weapons is centered correctly even in wide-screen.

The only problem I find with DEFI is the life of the enemies by pointing, is displaced to the left.

Just need to add an option to limit the HUD to the center of the screen.
