Dead Island Eyefinity fix doesnt work! (Steam)

Hey guys,

I have bought Dead Island on steam, and i want to play it with Eyefinity, i applied the fix, and in the menu it works, menu seems ok.

As soon as i start the game it crashes!
I really want to play this game in Eyefinity!
Resolution 5760x1080

Specs:

i7 3570K @ 4,5 GHZ
7950 WF3 in Crossfire (2x)

a patch that came out after the fix broke it. go to C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\DeadIsland\out\Data\Menu\Scr and open MenuUpgradeCharacter.xui, change the resolution width and height references from 3840 x 720 to whatever is appropriate for your setup. gg glhf
