Windows 8 probs

Just installed windows 8. Now whenever I try to run a game I'm never given the option to run 5760 x1080 only 1920 by 1080. I've updated all drivers and still no change, it's probably something super simple and I'm probably looking in all the wrong places but any help would be appreciated. Far cry 3 is the game that I'm most disappointed in having to play on 1 monitor, once again, thanks. Btw I normally run games in window border less mode.

Running win8, didn't do any special setting for a ATI card just regular eyefinity setup in ati control center
